How to convert a NORSCOT 1:50 Scale 345B MH into a 345B L excavator...

First of all...heres whats needed:

-NORSCOT 1:50 Scale 345B MH

-NORSCOT 1:64 Scale 385B L

-Small phillips screw driver

-File

-Metal saw

-Metal glue or super glue

STEP 1

disassemble the Norscot 345B MH completly.

STEP 2

Carefully cut off the cab riser (cut on the indented line) (even a small household hack saw

will cut through this die-cast metal like butter)

STEP 3

Next cut the actual model frame straight down from where the cab sits. (like before there is a nice

indent on the model to set the blade in and cut down from to make it excact)

STEP 4

After all the necessary cutting, eliminate raised areas on the body where the cab will need to

sit completly even, sand or file to make smooth and flat (set cab on to check for perfection but hold

off on attaching it to the tractor body)

STEP 5

Here you will need to take the NORSCOT 385B L and take it totally apart

STEP 6

The sixth step is to remove the boom pin and hydrolic pin from the 385B L... which will make

it so the boom can be removed

STEP 7

Then attach boom to the 345B MH body by sliding both pins into place (it will be a perfect fit)

STEP 8

the final step is to put the parts all back together... attach all 345B MH parts except instead of

using the 345B MH tracks use the 385B L tracks... glue the cab into place... and to make it official grab

some black paint and go over the "MH" after 345B and then grab a small brush (even a toothpick works good)

and some white paint to add the new "L" creating the 345B L...here is what the end result is:
