Here is my custom CAT 5110B L excavator equipped with a special deep

digging application boom for extreme jobs such as deep underground

pipeline construction or dredging operations... You can get an idea of

 just how huge this machine is as that man stands beside its bucket

The model is made up of two main pieces, the Norscot CAT 5110B excavator

and the JOAL PC1100LC-6 excavator

The body and cab are from the 5110B while the boom,dipper,bucket,

carbody and tracks are from the PC1100LC-6

Although not the most difficult in conversions some major modifications

did have to happen to make the two models converge into one

All have been painted and decaled in caterpillar colors

Dual hydraulic cylinders operate the bucket. Hydraulic lines run to cylinders

Boom not only digs incredibly deep but also has a high reach
